You sit alone in a compartment you were lucky enough to find empty, and you catch up on the coming year's reading, dipping in and out of the stash of sweets you purchased from the trolley lady. There's a smudge of chocolate on the page of your Charms textbook from the chocolate frog that nearly got away; you spell it away with a whispered 'tergeo' before embarking upon a pumpkin pasty.
